I haven't personally but my bf has it and his is always clearer when his diet is cleaner - I've never got him onto fully raw foods diet though. It also helps his skin if he allows the sun onto it in the summer and I suspect exercise also plays a positive role.

In addition to cleaning up the diet, it's worth focusing on liver, gallbladder, and bowel cleansing (the function of all 3 are very closely interlinked). This has been discussed many, many times, here on RFT. If liver function is compromised, then the body will inevitably seek to expel un-dealt-with toxins via other routes, and the skin is a major route of excretion.

Bernard Jensen's book 'Tissue Cleansing Through Bowel Management' contains photos of a patient with psoriasis who made huge improvements by cleansing the liver and bowel. Really profound.

You would also be wise to try to identify any potential sources of toxic exposure you may have been subjected to during your lifetime. Whilst chronic poor diet may be the reason, others have toxic exposure from the environment, from dental amalgams, vaccines, industrial exposures etc. etc. Everyone has a different life and different sources of exposure to different toxins.

One thread you might start with is this one:

I hate to sound like a walking infomercial but: Actually I used to have pretty bad Psoriasis especially in the winter times and I've been on this raw diet for about a bit over 2 weeks and the problem seemed to be ALOT BETTER. I would say its almost miraculous. I would not have believed it if I didn't try this diet.

I totally believe you. wish I could get my bf to do even 30 days on raw. He'd see such a difference.

I had psoriasis on my elbows for more than 20 years when I first got into raw. When I was young, it would go away in the summer/sunlight, but for most of the time it had just been there. I was also starting to get it on my toes.

When I got into raw, I did a lot of cleansing (lots of veg juice, colonics). The biggest health changes happened in the first few months, including the clearing up of the psoriasis. I did (and do) eat some cooked food, but avoid grains and dairy (although I sometimes eat these too--but the psoriasis has not come back after 4 years).
