Hi, I have been eating mostly raw for a couple of months, I still eat 1 or 2 sandwiches a day(with butter, cheese and vegetables). What could I use as a raw substitute?

Also, what raw foods should I add to what I'm currently eating: bananas, kiwis, sunflower seeds, cashew nuts, cucumbers, bell peppers, carrots, avocados, grapes, tomatoes and garlic. I may have forgotten a few but am I missing some essentials?
No real exotic examples please, I live in a small city.

Thanks.

you could make or buy raw bread- I like raw food world's products. the bread is pricey but a little goes long way and you can start making your own to save $. Then instead of butter or cheese make a dressing using olive oil as the base- yummm!

I don't see any greens on your list, I would definitely add those (spinach, kale, etc) Also some sea veggies would be good. There will probably be other suggestions but those are the 1st two that popped into my head.

People at my house love ALT's (Instead of BLT's- bacon, lettuce & tomatoe sandwiches) ALT's are a sandwich made with slices of avacado, lettuce and tomates. We rub garlic on some toasted bread (raw or cooked - depending on who is eating it) then add your avacado, lettuce and tomatoe. Yum! So simple but so good.
