Hi, my name is Monica and I am new to all this. My initial goal was to go on a smoothie cleanse for 3 days. Its been 5 days now and I havent stopped. My worry is that I am not getting enough of the different kinds of things that my body needs. How can I tell if I am or not? I probalby am not getting enough greens for sure. I can only stand to put in about 1 hand full of spinach at a time and if I use any other green I can only put a small leaf or something. Any suggestions on what I need to do? I am definately not a veggie person.

You can log your food into a program such as Cronometer(www.cronometer.com) to see that you're getting enough calories, vitamins, minerals, etc.

dont fret , weve become accustomed to eating WAY too much , fruit smoothies with handful spinach per day is fine for weeks / months at a time for a full grown adult imo

i dont like wrecking good tasting fruit smoothies with greens either . i make fruit smoothies based in nut mylks i make like almond / hemp . then eat alot of mixed greens salads . if you want greens in diet on smoothie fast ide juice them and drink down seperately as a mineral / vitamin drink . if no juicer you can pulse up greens in blender with water a feww short pulses then strain out leaf for a green water

I concur on the use of cronometer. The main reason is that it will educate you as to what nutrients are in what food and how to make up for what you are missing. After a while you will just know and can stop using it.
