I just watched it through Netflix and it was eye-opening. It's about the benefits of whole food plant based diets vs. the health risks around the world with animal based diets.

I've seen both those movies and they had a really big impact on me!

"Fat, sick and nearly dead" inspired me to do a 30-day juice fast, which lead to my switching to a raw food lifestyle. Also I've since recommended it to lots of friends, many of whom are now juicing regularly and changing their diets.

I shared "Forks over knives" with my dad, and at 78 years old he decided to become a vegan immediately after watching it! Now I'm trying to help him go more raw.

Another good movie on Netflix is "Food matters," which features David Wolfe and Charlotte Gerson and talks about raw foods and the importance of being organic.

I will check the movie "food matters" and yeah sure I know Charlotte Gerson she is very famous for her cancer therapy on raw, if you google a little you can find many movies regarding Gerson and cancer.

I have watched many of them because my mother in law has cancer but they not switched to raw even until today I'm trying but they still believe in the medical treatment, so not much to say, this is why I started the raw at first myself that this can heal your body.

I have diabetes type 1 and that is the one they say there is no cure for, I'm already 11 month raw and I almost do not use insuline any more and I believe I can get ride of it before end of year, even they see all the positive effect on my health, they always say you look so healthy, your skin is so soft, you look much younger etc but still they keep eating there meat etc.

I hope you can stay with raw just like me, I wish you all the best.

If you need more suggestions on movies I can provide you many if you want.

I watched "Fork over Knives" and I also really liked it, I watched it about a month before I started my fasting and raw eating. I haven't seen the other though, I will look for them tomorrow. It will be good media for me while I finish my fast!

In my mind, pretty much anything that Esselstyn or Campbell have to say is gold. Read The China Study if you haven't yet!

I purchased a copy and found it pretty boring. I have "Food Matters" and love it and FOK was just dull in comparison!

The first original documentary on dvd was "A diet for all reason" and the fork over knives is a more extended from that . Watching a diet for all reason, was what gave me faith of sticking with vegan period. I was a raw vegan and i was starting to crave for the dairy and it did the trick for me watching this. Now, with more knowledge that i gained on this topic, it is without a doubt that if you want or hope getting well, animal food had to get ditch especially with dairy.

Love my raw vegan food.

Watched Forks over Knives yesterday. Loved it! What I've been reading about in nutrition books is all about eating to be healthy. FOV is about eating to become healthy. That's quite a difference.
