Don't let the name fool you. :p

http://www.nakedjuice.com/

Has anyone tried that? I tried the superfood green juice a few days ago and it was really good after I took a few sips to get used to it. It was loaded with greens and fruits and 100% natural.

I'm hoping the local grocery stores carry it as I had gotten it from one out of town.

anyway, just wanted to check and see if you guys have heard of/tried it.

Naked Juice has been around for quite some time. Far as I know it's not raw though. If I remember correctly they were when they started then had some problems and currently pasturize. Anyone know if my memory is correct on this? Jenna, was what you had raw? I remember their green juice was quite good as they used ~ what? Pineapple as the sweetner? I've based my raw green smoothies on that.

Hi, Jenna,
Revvel is correct -- Naked Juice is definitely pastuerized (unfortunately).
However, Evolution's juices & products, it is my understanding are not. Currently, I believe all of their products are okay for raw fooders.

Anyone out there, correct me if I'm wrong, if you know something I don't know. I just know I feel okay after I use their products, and that seems to be a good rule of thumb. When I first went raw, and didn't know about Naked Juice, and was using their products, if I'm remembering correctly, I didn't feel as good after using them.

It is really good, but it's not raw. It's what they call 'flash' pasteurized. The ingredients are cooked at a high temp for a short amount of time and then left to cool so not all the nutrients are lost. I enjoyed the green one myself when I tried it awhile back...

Ooo! I would be so happy if Evolution's stuff is raw! I just dropped an email to an outfit in San Diego that I think is the creater of Evolution to ask. I'll let you know if I hear back!

I know there is a lot of pear in it as well as some apple.

I just spoke with someone over at Evolution. Their citrus is NOT pasteurized but all the others are. Well, that's something exciting at least, isn't it?

Thanks for checking, Sachi.
Just got back today from a two-day out of town trip, wherein I had brought a coconut, then added it to my Evolution orange juice this morning, and it was delicious! Really got my day off to a great start!
