juice/water fasting

I've been about 80+% raw for 6 months now... And I would like to do a week juice fast starting nov5. So today I had a glass and a half of green juice like normal but at 10 I was hungry and normally I eat and I feel like juice wouldn't have been enough, so any tips from people who have done a juice or water fast? And how much juice did you drink? Thanks

I've never done a water fast, but when I did my juice fast I just drank juice anytime I was hungry. I usually had about a gallon of juice a day, some days more and some days less. I did around 25 days and found that the longer I was on it, the less juice I needed. When I started to fast I pretty much sipped juice nonstop all day. By the end of the fast I was having three or four separate "meals" with nothing but tea or water for hours in between.

For times when I was really very hungry, it helped to have a thicker more savory juice -- something like tomatoes, chili peppers, kale, beets, garlic and parsley could keep me full for hours. I also usually started the day with fruit juices, then tried to stick with a higher percentage of veggie juices after.

I also drink as much juice as I want when juice fasting. I found it works better for me when I have a variety of juices to choose from. And as the previous poster stated, I drank less as time progressed.

How long did the rest of you fast for? And did you lose any weight? I'm doing it for my health but that would definitely be a bonus

i have fasted a lot. my longest fast was 209 days. when i'm fasting i drink as much juice as i desire... when i'm water fasting i drink approx. 2-4 litres per day.

don't limit yourself - as it is you are limiting yourself when you are fasting... so allow yourself as much raw live juice as you want!
