I grow my wheatgrass in my kitchen without soil. Can I blend/juice the whole wheatgrass including the roots?

No, humans cannot digest the grass. You need to strain it. ;)

Yes I will strain it. But can I blend the roots along with the grass?

Hi Joyce ~ Are all the roots mold-free? Just curious because I've seen videos that even using the soil free method they roots can still get moldy... *Ü*

Yes Deb. I pay attention to the molds.
If I keep the bottom of the roots well drained (by tipping the wheatgrass tray sideways or setting it on the lower rack of the dishwasher to drain), the roots won't get moldy. I don't intend to blend all the roots anyway. I just wanted to know if I have to be very careful to get rid of all the roots when I blend/juice wheatgrass.
