Need no conversion convincing to raw foods or eating advice. Am curious if anyone has can give me some personal experience as to how going raw has helped/cured extremely oily skin. Since going raw, I've noticed a slight decrease in the oiliness of my skin. I expect it to continue to decrease, but it's all new territory to me. Has anyone on here completely rid themselves of extreme excessive oiliness? Please note that this is not a thread about clearing up my complexion. Just about oiliness. And please, no advice on facials or masks or anything of the like. I'm hip to it all already. I'm talking about an internal decrease in oil production. If you have solved your oily skin problem internally through eating raw, please let me know how long it took you in terms of months, from start to finish. Also, if you have not decreased your oil production at all, I'd like to know that as well.

Definite interrelationship between oiliness of skin and efficiency of gallbladder and liver function (and, to some degree, pancreas function, too - lipase etc.)

Therefore, cleansing the hepato-biliary system may well be expected to bring about an improvement in oiliness of the skin. Bitter green foods are particularly good for cleansing the liver.

And consuming nutrients supportive of fat breakdown/digestion may be helpful, too. These include the amino acids taurine & glycine, along with lecithin and digestive enzyme formulas containing lipase.

Turmeric is also beneficial for the liver and the skin.

I suggest you read Moritz' 'The Amazing Liver & Gallbladder Flush' for more discussion on hepato-biliary cleansing, along with the following:

so it would be likely that i'm successfully cleansing my liver, as i've seen a slight decrease in oil production? i should continue to do exactly what i'm doing and six months from now i'm likely to see a marked difference?
