So from my thread title, you can conclude that I have run the gamut when it comes to food obsessions lol. Started when i was 8 and just switched obsessions every couple of years. Now, I've decided that I really need to start treating my body with more respect. I researched living foods for the past couple of months and slowly began transitioning into raw this past couple of weeks..i just had my last piece of cooked food a few minutes ago and I'm honestly not sad or melancholy about that. I'm looking forward to it actually. I'm an avid cook so once I found out that I can still be creative and make some amazing dishes RAW I was sold. My dehydrator and food processor should be arriving tomorrow (I love Amazon's free 2 day shipping btw lol), and I can't wait to start getting creative.

So more about me.

Well my first name is Courtney. I am 21, Capricorn, born in Luquillo, Puerto Rico, moved to Alabama when I was 6 and lived there until I was 18. Jumped on a AMTRACK train to Los Angeles, CA 6 days after my high school graduation(May '08) with $40 in my pocket and no plan at all, and 2 years later I'm still standing super strong :). I'm super spiritual/religious and adopting this raw lifestyle has definitely brought me a lot closer to my true authentic self and deeper spiritually. I have a twin sister, older sister, and older brother. I'm a proud uncle of twin nieces! (my twin sister's kids). So I'm crossing my fingers and praying I get twins as well!

My goals for this new lifestyle is to really start loving/craving raw food and not crave meat and cakes(my weakness), lose weight (currently standing 5'7" and 340lbs EEEEKKKK! lol. I've been blessed to not have any health problems whatsoever so I want to get control of this before any problems occur), quit smoking(only been smoking for like 9 months so i really need to stop while I'm ahead) and just live a more healthy, wholesome, fulfilled life. Anyways, thanks for reading and nice to meet all of you! :)
