View Full Version : Where to buy GreenStar Juicer

I have looked locally and can not find anywhere that sells these. The places I find on-line do not give me any type of sense of security that it is a good idea to give them my credit card...
Where did you buy yours?
Also, can anyone speaking from experience tell me which GreenStar juicer to buy, there seem to be a lot of models and without being able to actually see them at a store I am not sure which one to buy. I want it for juice and nut butters. I don't know that I would ever use/need the pasta or breadstick attachments unless there are good raw recipes where they would be useful?
I really appreciate your help.
Thanks,
Jacques

Thanks for the replies.
I will check out the video. I always forget about Amazon for things other than books.

I got mine off of Craigslist, basically brand new, they used it once, 400 dollars. 1 month after I buy it, I see another brand new one with all of the attachments for 100 dollars!!!! Darn! Still 400, in the box, isn't bad.
The ONLY problem with it, is that it makes a squeaking sound in the motor. Maybe that's why they sold it? I don't mind it honestly, for half the price. But make sure the ask the seller about the motor squeaking, if it does that. If you buy off of craigslist, that is.

Hi,
Wow, that would be nice, unfortunately I live in an area that does not have a lot of stuff on craigslist. I think Craigslist is mostly used in larger cities (though I live in a fairly large city, there is just never anything good on our craigslist) but it is worth a shot checking. The discountjuicers site has the best price plus free shipping via ground, and a $10 off coupon. So I will probably go that route.

I would probably go with amazon (http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&x=0&ref_=nb_sb_ss_sc_0_9&y=0&field-keywords=green%20star%20juicer&url=search-alias%3Daps&sprefix=greenstar&_encoding=UTF8&tag=bes800rev-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=390957). I do most of my shopping on that site. They are pretty good at returns, which i like.
