View Full Version : Is my body eating itself?

I have been going on a mostly raw vegan diet(and sometimes I heat up cooked potatoes to gain weight over night) for the last month and have lost about 20 pounds. I had to put on a belt about a week ago, and I still wear a belt, and now my underwear is showing. If I took off my belt, my pants would seemingly drop.

I was originally 136 pounds 5 foot 7. And now I am 121 pounds(with muscle).

My mustache and beard has grown faster than what I was doing on a meat based diet(takes me a week and a half). I don't know if that is a symptom of the body starving itself or what.

How do I know if my body is eating my organs or getting rid of the bad stuff? My waistline appears to be higher than it normally is and my legs are a little bit longer.

How do I know if I am doing alright? I just want everything to work out, and I only got one week left to try to detox because winter is coming in, and I will have to go back to cooked potatoes and other stuff in order to last through the winter.

Do you know how many calories you are getting. If you are getting enough then you have no need to worry.
