View Full Version : Too many nuts?

Okay so I'm very new to the raw food diet and I suppose over the last day or two I've had perhaps to many nuts but I justified it to myself by saying "I need those healthy fats!"
However last night before I went to bed I noticed my stomach was sore which woke me
up consistently in the night and was still there this morning. I had a severe pain in my gut and fairly awful diarrhoea that was so bad I nearly fainted several times from the pain (and rather embrassingly had to lie on the bathroom floor and regain conciousness.) Is it just me or has anyone else had this and how can I stop it? Thanks :D

wow, I never experienced this. Perhaps this occured because the nuts/seeds were not sprouted? Did you chew everything well? Yea you probably had too much also.

I mean i've had too many nuts before but never experienced this.

I too am in a battle with Nuts! I haven't experienced this though, but maybe if I did it would help me to cut back on them or just say no! :D I think balance is needed with anything we eat. I know that I do eat waaaay too many Nuts and Avacado. But, I'm working on that, trying to focus on non-Nut recipes.

Try switching to sprouted sesame seeds and see how full you feel...you shouldn't need to eat as much after a while. Also, don't forget to balance it out with omega 3 fats, but a pre-digested fat so you don't overload on fat, so sprout flax seeds a few days and eat or blend with the sprouted sesame seeds. lt will fill ya and be a safer more balanced way to eat.

Also: don't forget, lots of greens, some sea vegies and even abit of algae to keep it all under control. Try it and see what happens.
