Hi,
I have been eating about 95% raw so far this month and I really do feel good most of the time. Occasionally I get a little light headed when I stand up from a chair or a laying down position and was wondering if it could be low blood sugar or low blood pressure...
On that note I was wondering if I was getting enough calories, and what you guys do to get enough calories. For example today I have had a banana and a large apple for breakfast. A plum and a bowl of homemade tomato soup (tomatoes, green pepper, celery, garlic, fresh basil, blended together) just warmed enough to take the chill off for lunch and about 20 baby carrots for a snack. For dinner I have been having a large salad with green peppers, cucumber, carrot, tomatoes, and sunflower seeds or similar sized meal (enough to cover the plate and make me full)
I have been trying to eat when I am hungry, and eating this way I feel full most of the time, but I don't know if I am getting enough calories, I am 6'2" ~215lbs according to my dr. my ideal weight is 190lbs but I feel like I would be a scarecrow at that weight. I looked up some of the nutrition info and apparently a large banana is 110calories and a large apple is like 90, 200 calories doesn't seem enough for breakfast, but I feel full after eating it.
Thanks for any info/thoughts/suggestions.
