l am always interested reading what people eat, so what have you eaten today? Maybe it's best to post at the end of the day so we know what the days food consisted of. l'll start:
* Aphanizomenon flos-aquae - blue/green algae
* Chlorella - green algae
* Spirulina - blue/green algae
* Dulse - purple algae
* Nori - black/green algae
* Arami - black algae
* Kelp - brown algae
* Wakame - green algae
* Weeds (not sure of the weed but it is safe)
* Yellow flowers
* Alfalfa sprouts
* Sesame seed sprouts
* Flax seed sprout greens
* Pea shoot sprout greens
* Lentil sprouts
* Millet sprouts (birdseed)
* Adzuki bean sprouts
19 different foods for the day. l feel incredible.

Breakfast was 1 1/2 litres of Green Smoothie (to be accurate it was more pink than green):
Big handful beet greens
Tsp mixed: spirulina, maca, cardamom, cinammon

Flax seed crackers topped with avocado, lime juice and himalayan salt
2 giant servings of a salad I made - rocket, slivered radish, goji berries, (dehydrated) candied pine nuts, sprouted sunflower seeds and a dressing made with agave, cold pressed olive oil and a peeled whole lemon.
A smoothie with banana, romaine lettuce, blueberries and hemp protein powder.

Nothing yet but I am about to go and get two oranges and some oj with mineral powder in it. Nothing but fruit today. Day 4 of my elimination diet.:dance:

Juice with beet, celery, ginger, garlic, apple, pear, parsley, carrot, cucumber
Salad with spinach, mushrooms, corn, tomatoes, romaine, red onion, carrots, sunflower seeds with olive oil and a bit of salt
tomato soup with tomatoes, avacado, fresh basil, garlic

kung po chicken for lunch
no breakfast slept in :)

Green Smoothie for breakfast:
big handful carrot greens
1 1/2 frozen bananas
1/2 tsp Spirulina, Maca, Cardomom & Cinammon mix
Just whizzed up an avocado that just wouldn't ripen
6 overripe cherry tomatoes
Some fresh basil leaves
Drizzle olive oil
Served with a few onion crackers that are way too crumbly and need eating up :-)

Breakfast: 2L+ Smoothie made of 2 celery stalks, 2 big spinach leaves, bunch of grapes, handfull of cranberries, one banana, and one apple.
Lunch: Onion bread/cracker broken into chip size pieces with a salsa type dip made from an avacado, half a red onion, 4 cloves garlic, 2 big tomatoes, bunch of cilantro, red pepper, and the juice from one lime. More than i could eat in one meal.
Dinner: about to make a massive coleslaw salad with one big red cabbage, one cucumber, one tomato, half a red onion, 1 clove garlic, 1 big carrot, one orange and one green pepper, about a half cup of vinager, close to a quarter cup evoo, and some salt and pepper to taste. I'm kinda muchie right now so i think i'll eat a couple oranges while i make it.
Hmmmm, sounds like a lot of food when i write it all down but i am in the middle of moving and have been packing all day and burning a lot of energy. If i need a snack tonight i'll probably eat the left over salsa dip on sliced cucumber, good spicy and cool mix.
Edit to add: The slaw was a little too acidic to eat it all so i only ate half of it. Since i was still hungy i ate most of a coconot to balance out the tangy slaw.

I'm amazed at how little you eat! I've been in the school of no less than 1200 calories a day or your metabolism will slow down. Old school, I guess. I'm trying not to think about calories at all. I'm only on Day 6 today of my raw journey. I'm working on just eating when I'm hungry, even if that means 1 hour after I just ate. I keep to fruits in the mornings. I don't have a juicer, so I depend of just cut fresh fruit or a smoothie that can be made in my Black & Decker blender and more fresh fruit whole or cut for mid-morning snack. I still don't have my hunger under control in the mornings yet. It's usually a salad for lunch and more fruit or nuts mid-afternoon. Dinner I'm using Alissa's recipes from her book right now. I'm pleased so far, but still missing some cooked foods.

I had juice this morning- orange, apple, cantelope, carrott, cucumber, smidgin' of ginger and a few bits of pumpkin I had left over from a raw dessert... i had soo much energy after this!
Lunch was a green smoothie- curly and dino kale, chard, banana, wild blueberries, goji berries, and I threw in a few bits of cacao nibs.. was in a chocolate-y mood! :drool:
Snacked on alfalfa sprouts
Dinner was simply guacamole & some sweet potato/corn chips a friend had made that I snuck a couple handfuls home.. sooo delicious.
Dessert is going to be some cashew squares... mmm.
