I'm sorry to say - but my husband also has plaque psoriasis and putting something topical on it will not cure the psoriasis. We are both currently listening to Dr. Robert Morse ND's YouTube videos where he does address psoriasis (and all skin disorders). His channel is: robertmorsend and he teaches detoxification and then cellular regeneration. I hope you find his information helpful. *Ü*

I have battled psoriasis for years. It is finally healing.
This is what I am doing - extensive enemas everyday - 2 coffee enemas in am - evening a deep chamomile tea enema or clay enema.
All organic food.
Have been juicing only (no solid food- except honey taken in drinks - raw honey) for weeks - it is healing.
Topical shit does not heal it- you got to clean the gut and the cell tissues.
Coconut oil -raw cold pressed is probably the best topical application.
Psychology is also important - understanding how we lie to ourselves - and ending that.
Cold baths to boost immune system.
Epsom salt hot baths to clean dead skin
Skin brushing couple times daily.
No stimulants, no alcohol, no drugs, no smoking.

I concur with DebB and Nathan - it's all about cleansing and detoxification.

Eliminate from your daily life as many sources of toxic exposure as you can (many cosmetics and deodorants, cleaning products, dental amalgams etc. contain nasty toxins (parabens etc.), and/or heavy metals, of various kinds)

Cleanse the bowel

Cleanse the liver

Cleanse the lymphatic system.

But it's also important to try to ascertain if there is a specific source of toxicity in the body. If you want to see a typical example of this, then consider the example of what arsenic will do to the skin - just google 'arsenic skin' and see some pics. That's just one example toxin and it's relationship to the skin of a human being. Also, there are interesting and startling pictures in the back of Bernard Jensen's classic book 'Tissue Cleansing through Bowel Management', where a male patient with severe psoriasis makes excellent recovery through bowel detoxification.

I thoroughly recommend you make the effort to try to identify how/where your probable toxicity issue is arising. In the case of heavy metals, which happens to be my own issue, the order of cleansing is greatly complicated and differs totally from more general cleansing methods outlined above. A long thread, and one not specifically aimed at psoriasis, but nonetheless well worth you reading, is this one:

Bear in mind that the bowel and the liver are two of the most significant detoxification routes in the human body and are intimately linked with one another - toxicity in one often leads to problems with the other. The skin is the largest detoxification organ of the human body, so intoxication problems with the liver and/or bowel often lead to the body resorting to excretion of an increased number of toxins via the skin, and this is why psoriasis may commonly arise under such circumstances.

Also, ensure you're consuming healthy intake of zinc, antioxidants (including vitamin E and the carotenoids - kale is a good source of many), and omega 3 etc.
