Has anyone had success healing colitis, IBS, or Crohn's? I'm not sure which I have, but it's constipation (lifelong issue, but doing better lately) bleeding (bright red on toilet paper and sometimes in the toilet, happens most days and started about a year ago) mucus (not sure when it started, but became a big deal about two years ago) bloating (mostly due to constipation, sometimes gas) and stomach pain (mild but noticeable, feels cramp- or ache-like.)

I've been raw vegan about 6 years. Recently, I tried David Klein's diet, and it helped but not as much as I'd hoped. I did 10 days on only bananas, and then did two weeks on bananas, grapes, dates, watermelon, and peeled apples. Then I did another week with the fruit plus additions of peeled cucumber, celery, and romaine. I still had blood & mucus but there was much less. The constipation and bloating worsened.

Since, I've been eating 5-6 bananas for breakfast, 12-15 dates for lunch, and dinner of about 1 lb greens, a lot of seaweed, some bell pepper and tomato, herbs, and chickpea miso (or coconut aminos or celtic salt) and avocado (or soaked sesame or flax crackers or fermented nut cheese.) I drink a lot of kombucha and water kefir, and sometimes I have sauerkraut. I have 1 quart of water w/ lemon first thing, and take a probiotic. Some nights if I feel like I'm starting to get backed up I take a vegan magnesium-oxygen supplement. The constipation is MUCH better, and so is the bloating, but the pain, blood, and mucus are worse.

Without question, go visit dr Morse and you will see that if you do a search he has already answered this question.

To heal this condition once for all, you should stick to fruits, greens and herbs. Stay away from fat just for a time being. Chew well and allow time to digest your fruits fully before you do any other food.

Ditch your supplement also, trust in the power of live food. Supplement can really mess up your system, you are too sensitive right now to be able to afford more challenge in your body.

Apple are in seasons. Water melon, grape and berries would be great too. You will get there and be perfectly healthy, don't give up, you are without question on the right path. Just stick with fruits, they are easy to digest and will heal the root cause of your condition.

All is well
