I am really conflicted on something and I would like all of your advice.

I am a vegan. I love being vegan. I like that I can be an example to people because of my eating style and having a "label" helps them to understand me. I did not become vegan for ethical reasons, but rather health reasons. Over time however I have changed and I am now a vegan also for ethical reasons (which confuses my strictly religious in laws on why any spiritual person would feel the need to avoid animal protein but that is a different discussion in of itself :) )

However, I suffer from severe allergies, even being raw. I also have some other minor health complaints and I have read that raw honey is pretty effective at healing the body. There is a man in my town that ethically raises bees and can provide me with raw honey. I am disgusted at the idea of eating bee spit, but I also understand it's healing power.

However, I feel bad taking from the bees (although he leaves them more than enough).

What do you guys think?

On a separate not, I also have self-diagnosed candida issues in my blood. I get yeast rashes on my skin and nothing clears them. They flair up and go away on their own and candida issues are the only thing I can come up with. I can't get this theory tested as my local hospital charges $200 dollars for the test and insurance will not pay. Would honey exacerbate the problem?

I'm not a guy yet, one thing I'd suggest is, put some honey directly on the rash and see what happens. If that doesn't work... put pee on it.

Revvell ... I'm not trying to pry ... but when are you planning on becoming a guy?

And lol - I'm not sure my *thing* is the right size for me to pee behind my knee! But I guess I could try that!

And I'm not being rude about transgendered people! I am just not sure I read that quite right!

Well, when i went raw on 2007, i started to have allergies to dust, wood fire and in the fall especially with the high pollen of rag weed.

My skin condition clear that year but start to come back.

After researching and trying different thing for me by eliminating certain food, i came to conclude for myself that i had food sensitivity.

Prior to raw food, i didn't do much fat, except for the dairy on occasion. On 2007, i was eating raw gourmet like there isn't any tomorrow and with nuts in all kind of dish. I went underweight that year and also with a new health problem allergy.

I did a detox with simplyraw.ca program, it worked my skin cleared. I start to have problem again, when i would eat nuts even once in a while except for fermented soaked nut such cheese or yogurt.

Now, i still have my allergy but i found out that if i am religious with following dr. Morse advice with the fruits and do his herbs and stay away from nuts, i just sneeze once in a while and my eye are ok and i don't have a runny nose. If i do make exception, my allergy will kick in, but if i take dr. Morse herbs my allergies will fade away very fast.

I know without question, that i need to detox fully, get my primary organ working right including my kidney/adrenal, i know my parathyroid is weak as per dr. Morse because i have the symptom he mentions. I have to work on my colon as well. I am not worry about being religious, i am doing this on my own speed.

If i would be you, i would gradually incorporate more fruits, do green juice with apple to sweet it, check dan liferegenerator for many green juice recipe and look up in Dr. Robert Morse website to see the herbs he uses in his formula and try to add this in my smoothie or green juice. You can also research to find a local herbs or berry that is great to rejuvenate the kidney, adrenal, glands, and rejuvenate your GI track.
At some point for myself, when i am ready, i will consider to do water fast. Apparently they are the equivalent of 1 day fast is like one month fast.

Remember that fruits can be acid to your body if they aren't ripe. Since, i live far away, i have to take my smoothie to maintain an alkaline body. Apple on the other hand, we have plenty here.

Anyway, try to see what you are eating a lot or what you are eating that is new prior to your raw food.

Nightshade food cans also lead to problem. I seem to be fine but you could have sensitivity.

All the best

As for the bee, i hear you and it is pretty repulsive with that thought. I still use raw honey but i buy it from my friend which i know for sure he is a bee lover and treat them well.

I prefer raw honey over raw agave. Raw agave is a concentrate fructose and unless fructose comes from a whole food such fruits, i stay away from it because it is imbalance.

Raw coconut oil, help my skin maybe it cans help you too.

if you have skin rash and all the symptom you mention, your lymph without question cannot do its job because you have acidocist. It could be couple reasons but your kidney and adrenal are very important to function. High concentration of protein will weaken the kidney.

If i was you, i would get my protein from greens and stay away from nuts or only do a little cheese nut or yogurt at time. Your kidney and adrenal needs to rejuvenate so they can help your lymph to filter.

I don't think you should consume honey if you don't feel appeal with it, but if you know a good producer and you want to give it a try then try. I have eat raw honey and not for health reason but it didn't clear my problem. I ate it whole too and again, i didn't see any health benefit except to enjoy it. I tried also the manuka honey and again, i didn't se any difference. Maybe for certain people it is very beneficial and for others, they need to focus on a different area first like me.

All the best

Never. You said "What do you guys think?" I'm not a guy.

Oh, I said I'm not a guy "yet"... uh, not sure I said that right. *blushes*

Ever heard of urine therapy? Pee in a cup, then put it where the rash is.

Also, now that I think about it, my husband "healed" his rash issues by drinking coconut water. Thing is, when he stops, it begins all over which means he's not gotten to the root of it.

I think it was merely a missing comma:

"I'm not a guy, yet, one thing..."

You obviously feel as disgusted as I do at the thought of eating honey and you have no reason to believe that it would cure you of anything.
Lack of honey is not causing your problem so probably will not fix it.
I hope that this is not coming across as dogmatic and if you were someone who was not disgusted by the thought then I would say go ahead and try it but why inflict something on yourself that you find a tad intolerable if you do not know that it will fix it.

Thanks, thats what I was thinking. It grosses me out to bad to think about eating it, I just didn't know if it would be some kind of magic cure.

Forget the bees and drink lots of carrot juice. Yup.
