A user on YouTube directed me to this webpage about couples that were criminally put in jail because their child died of malnutrition on a fruitarian diet:

Has anybody had any experience of giving only raw foods(potatoes, fruit, nuts and seeds, herbs, beans) and breast milk to babies? I am a man, but I am interested how would you go about doing it, just to make sure there wouldn't be any malnutrition.

I got my child blood work done and this was her signature. You cannot argue with the number.

I consulted with a holistic nutritionist that knew about raw food and voila.

I think it is important that your believes are stronger then someone else fear. Educate others by inspiring.

Educate yourself and i cannot say it enough. Knowledge is key when someone approaches you with their believe. I DON'T DISCUSS my child diet with anyone unless i am asked. As for the school, i write that she is allergic to gluten, dairy, food colouring, white sugar. This cover all the junk food that they could give her. She is radiant of health and she is tall for her age.

Since there isn't much information about a raw diet for children. I make sure to make a very rich smoothie for her in the morning. It is high in omega3/6, vitamin A, C to help to absorption of iron from plant, and it is rich in IRON, etc..... Just by using hemp seeds, gojji berry, golden berries, chia seed always. Then i had fruits mainly strawberry banana and whatever is in season or available such plantain, papaya, berries etc... i am so not worry about to be deficient but i will get her check again. I was supplementing her with B12 now i use chlorella instead.

All the best

You might want to check out Storm and Jinjee Talifero's website (http://thegardendiet.com/) They have raised 5 kids as raw vegans.

They have an ebook called Raising Raw Vegan Children (http://thenatch.com/ebookpages/kids.html)that might be helpful.
