Hello,

I am currently soaking some almonds to activate them. For the first batch I am just doing a small amount and will eat them straight after soaking overnight.

Now I'm thinking in the future I will probably dehydrate them using my oven which has a 40 C degrees setting. Any ideas how long I would need to leave them in the oven at this temperature to dehydrate?

I have read that others store them in fridge in airtight container of water - but I would have thought this would over-soak them.

Thanks

I would always soak my almonds overnight (or 24 hours, although I have heard of others soaking them as long as 48 hours in the fridge) and then I would dehydrate them. How long to dehydrate? Keep tasting them and stop when they are fully dry. There's no easy way to say - it just all depends on their size, how long they soaked, etc. Every batch in my dehydator was a bit different, so I just keep checking (eating) them and when they're dry - they're done. After they're done, I store 1 jar in the fridge and the others in the freezer. *Ü*
