Very pleased to discover this site. I am a mum to a 2 yr old. I have been trying to move towards more raw food for a little while now. I find it tricky as I have to cook for my little fussy eater. And then my partner wants different food from that. Sometimes I just eat what I've cooked, as I have run out of energy and time.
But sometimes I eat cooked just because I don't know what else to eat. So I hope to hear other people's experience and maybe glean some tips and ideas.
I'd really l like to become a svelte mama from London, not to mention not to feel exhausted all the time!

Eat as much raw as you can. If you can do 100% then that is great but every bit helps.
Green smoothies are great and easy to make. Just put bananas and water in the blender with some spinach of lettuce and you have a meal. Raw need not be complicated.
The secret is to be prepared. If you find yourself hungry and with nothing easy to grab then you will cave so keep bananas on hand.

when u go shopping for food , pick up ur favorite easy to eat fruit and ur favorite snacking veggies . u can probably presaude ur 2 yr old to join in the fruit snacking and it will be so much more fun to let ur kiddo help u pick out the fruit . my daughter is three and i have moved her over to a 80% raw diet and i do 100% . she is much more willing to eat my raw food recipes if i let her sit up on my counter top and she "helps " me make it . i give her a bowl and a spoon and let her put colorful veggies or fruits in it and she mixes it . it has to be part of what im making though or she wont eat it . it will make it easier for u if ur little one starts eating what u eat , but dont take away everything from ur 2 yr old right away . wean slowly off so that they dont feel forced into it . and try giving ur kiddo a choice between the raw item and the stuff she/he normally will eat . good luck .

Thanks Devil's Angel. Very encouraging to hear how your daughter has moved to more raw. I hope I can do the same. Good tip to give the choice too. Thanks for advice x
