Am I correct in saying that the Samson juicer with the attachment (I think it's the 9000 series) is the only home juicer on the market that can make sesame and flax seed oils etc?
And that the attachment for that is out of stock and won't be available until 2013?
That's two questions! :) Please help ;)

And does anyone know if one can make oregano oil from the above sort of equipment?

any particular reason why you put these posts in your blog as well? The same people read the blog as read the threads so it doesn't help you get an answer.

No particular reason - I am just learning the ropes - thanks for the input. Noted. I am new to the forum. Any answers to the question posted? :)

Not a clue or I would have said ... on the subject of making the oil though, you would need a do-dang-ton of herb to get even a few drops of the oil!

do-dang-ton - lol - I will trying and get that word into a conversation I have today :)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0k5tzu8uFKk - seems to get plenty of oil - at least from flax seeds.

That video hugely impressed me. Apparently that is the only juicer that does that (with the special attachment). Regarding the oregano - I guess one could experiment.

I have that Samson attachment. Try different places as it's NOT ONLY for a Samson. Might be for an Omega too? I think it is. Like, Omega might be out of stock, but maybe someone like John Kohler has them sitting around still unsold. Just a thought.

To get oil from oregano, you'd have to distill it,,,not squish it like the seed oil extractors....I would think.

Thanks - I am trying to find an email to reach John on - his websites don't seem to have Contact Us mail...any thoughts?

Sorry, can't help you. No doubt you can do some googling though.

I was just looking at a Young Living's chart for essential oils last week and noticed how darned good oregano is for you....Convinced me to do more...but forgot about it until reading your post. Thanks for the reminder!

I get my oregano oil from Young Living. www.youngliving.com I have been using them for 15 years. Totally 100% organic and cold distilled. Be careful with it a little goes a long, long way and it can burn the skin so if you need to cut it with almond or olive oil.

I've got this - we bought it last year. I bought it here (http://www.discountjuicers.com/samsonpackage.html) and it appears he might have them in stock? It's John Kohler's site. I think there's a code if you're a YouTube watcher where you get another 5% off. *Ü*
