Olives?

I haven't seen a real definite answer on this one. Are they raw or not? I know they soak them in salt/brine for a year or something, but they are still raw, right?

To my knowledge, the container has to actually say RAW. Other than that, I think they are processed in some way.

I've had a hard time finding raw olives.
