View Full Version : What can I do with organic almond butter?

I have some expensive organic almond butter,and I love it. I dont know what I could do with it though? I already used have of it to make a raw mousse.

I like it on flax crackers, apple wedges and celery sticks.
Haven't had any in about 6 months. Thanks for reminding me about it!!

I don't eat any nut butters (I do make my own raw sunflower seed butter though) so I don't have any personal input on that, but I have heard about people who mix it in smoothies along with banana and carob or cacao nibs to have a chocolate peanut (or almond) butter smoothie. It sounds good!

I mainly eat it spread on slices of sweet apples....fantastic!

yes on apples slices!! I have seen some good raw dessert recipes but haven't done a lot of experimenting yet. It's very sticky and thick so it seems like it would be a great substance to hold things together.

If you like Thai food, you can use it to make the sauce. You can also use it to make humus. It keeps well in the fridge, no rush to eat it.

Alissa's great snack is fresh date with almond butter in it to stuff.
