So I think that I am going to do my first raw fast tomorrow. At this point I don't think that I am going to go longer than 24 hours. I want to start small as I expect a heavy detox and I have college classes and I have heard that fasting can mess with your concentration. I might do 48 hours, but I'm not sure I have enough juice and my car just broke and I have no way to get to a store between classes and stuff.
For tomorrow I have 2-2.5 quarts of juice that I made today in my blender and then used cheese cloth to strain it. How much of it should I drink in 24 hours? It isn't thinned with water at all and I have never done this before. Can I stretch that amount to last 24 hours if I drink plenty of water?
The juice is made of ...
2.5 Lbs Concord Grapes
1-2 (I can't remember how much) Fresh Plums
4 Large Cucumbers
Is that all okay?
Any tips about anything?

I'm sure that will be fine. I mean, it probably depends on what your goal is in fasting? I just started a water-only fast today. Fasting is actually quite safe, and your body can survive just fine on water alone for a lot longer than people typically think. So yeah, I think the juice you made will be more than fine for 24 hrs. Plenty of sugar and vitamins in the fruits/veggies you listed.

Thanks! I think that I am just going to take it one day at a time and see how far I can get! I have read the fasting thread that Aleesha posted and I agree that I think I can make it last a lot longer than one day. I will just listen to my body! If I can get it to last me to Wednesday (provided my concentration keeps up) I can go to the farmers market on my way to the bus for class (I live 3 blocks from my local farmers market).
My main goal is just to feel great ... I would like to release some weight, but more than anything I just want to feel great. I think that by fasting I may feel like I have more control over my food intake and feel more empowered (as well I just feeling healthy).

if you want your concentration to stay high... you need more juice!
but that said... give it a try with the limited juice you've made and see how you feel. one day really isn't that hard to do. you know you are going to eat in the morning... so it's more of a will-power/won't-power struggle than a body issue. your body is still using up the sugars from your last meals over the first THREE days of fasting.

Thanks! I think that I am going to try to make it further than one day, but I am only going to commit to one day at a time so I don't get overwhelmed. I may have a way to the store tomorrow ... I can get more stuff for juicing then!
