Hi everyone,
I just completed my first 24 hours of a juice fast (feast?). :throwhearts: I got my Omega 8000J Nutrition Center and am having a blast! It's like I got a new toy!
I did get a horrible migraine last night (only get one or two a year) but ironically haven't felt really hungry or had any major detoxification. I wonder if that is because I've been pretty raw the last year and a half. I have even been able to prepare food for my son and husband without any hunger. Is that normal?
I did discover something interesting, I seem to really enjoy the green juices. I made a juice with carrots and apples this morning and did not care for it. I find it wild, because in my formerly SAD life, I definitely had a sweet tooth.
I haven't decided how long my fast will be. I just assumed that I will continue for as long as it feels good.
Not sure how to handle tomorrow. It's my birthday (and the infamous 9/11) and my mother keeps pressuring me to go "out" to dinner or at least let her bring me a cake. Any ideas or suggestions on what to tell people when they have your best intentions but they are unintentionally sabotaging you??
Looking forward to reading more threads about yummy green juices!!
