I was referred here by someone from another site. I have been juicing consistently for a few months now, and its going great. I have some nice recipes ill share once i find the right location for them. Anyways I have a question, tried searching, couldnt find a related post.

I typically juice fruits and vegetables through a centrifugal juicer, then Ill add those items to a blender with a banana and some active culture yougurt. I am wondering if I am losing a lot of the active bacteria through the blending process, or even through mixing it with the juice. I would think it would be fine, especially since I drink it almost immediately.

Would it be better to just blend the banana, then stir in the yogurt afterwards?

Nice to meet you all :)

Welcome to the forum.

it would be better not to add the yogurt. This site is a vegan site so dairy is not considered a suitable food.

Nice to meet you all :)
It is nice to meet you too.
I do not know if you will loose enzymes from the yoghurt through blending but if you did hen surely we would loose enzymes in all food that we blend. Why do you think that it is different.
This is a vegan board but I am not sure that all are vegan here. I am very vegan and see no need for any dairy. Some here ferment other things to add to their enzymes.
