Hi Everyone
I'm 52, first tried raw food back in the 1980s when Leslie Kenton wrote about it. Loved it but didn't stick with it. Fast forward 20+ years, and I'm back. Long story short, various health problems including thyroid malfunction has resulted in yo-yoing weight, and currently I'm looking to drop weight - but primarily I've gone raw for the health benefits. I have eaten a vegetarian and sometimes a vegan diet for a few years - suddenly it just seemed clear to me that raw was the way to go. And here I am, on Day 18 ... I haven't weighed or measured yet (I did the day I started) as I want to not get hyperfocusing on weight, but my husband has already said he sees a difference, and I am feeling a difference both in myself and in my clothes. So I'm going to weigh and measure when I've finished the (first) 30 days. So far I'm loving it ...
