Hey,
I did a 3 day organic veggie/fruit juice fast. I experienced bubbly urine and still do. Urine color is normal . Is this from cleansing possibly? bacterial protein?
thanks
This can occur in people who are excreting heavy metals (mercury, cadmium, lead etc.), since these are damaging to the kidneys.
Granted, it's not the only cause of proteinuresis, but the above scenario is nonetheless viable. I've experienced it myself whilst on DMSA (urine foam dramatically decreased when I increased frequency of dosage, thus increasing efficiency of chelation, due to the kinetics of the chelator). This is contentious but, as I said, I've experienced it myself and I've discussed the issue with others who've had identical experiences. If the issue was with the chelation substance itself, then increasing the frequency of dosage would not be expected to result in reduction of symptoms.
On a fast, it is possible that certain juices (e.g. cilantro, wheatgrass, barleygrass, kale, cabbage, etc.) may stir up deposits of heavy metals in the body (assuming one has had some exposure to these at some point in life). Also, if one fasts to a state of ketosis, fat stores may be utilised for the body's energy demands and this break down of fats may result in the release of various toxins (metals being one such possibility) that were sequestered in the fat.
However, heavy metals aside, if one fasts long enough, and/or excretes various toxins too rapidly, kidney damage is theoretically possible.
Every person on the planet has a different spectrum of toxic burden, so it's difficult to know what toxins each individual is likely to excrete when their body is in a fasting state.
Whether or not heavy metals or some other toxin, or toxins, may be an issue for you, it seems logical for you to at least consider other health symptoms and see if their is any correlation between your other symptoms and known symptoms relating to certain various toxins.
Perhaps you might consider getting tested for some (and heavy metals are one of the easiest and cheapest to get tested for, incidentally).
Anyway, it's entirely up to you whether you dismiss your foamy urine as an anomaly or decide to do a little deeper investigation for yourself. Good luck to you, whatever your chosen course of action; I wish you good health.

You can google urine air bubbles and read what it says. You can also get checked by your doctor for the answer.
Yes, doctor probably your best bet, I agree, but, in the meantime, more info also available here:

Have you been diagnosed with M.S. or is it a self diagnosis? My dad has it so I am interested in hearing if/how your symptoms have improved while being raw.
