how to grow wheatgrass?

Again, I am new to this, I want to start to grow wheatgrass. We have a little garden with tomatoes and basil, so we have room outside in our garden. We live in Central Valley California. Where do I get wheatgrass seeds??? Any instructions as to how I attempt to do this?

to start with just get some wheat from the health food shop. It has to be whole and is often labeled Wheat Berries.

I grow mine in the steamer trays from an old steamer.

I soak them over night then put a piece of towelling in the bottom of the steamer tray and spread out the soaked wheat on the top. Water twice a day. Take a look at thesproutpeople.com video they show the principal but you can use whatever equipment you have about the house to sprout it.
