I have never tried a fast before, but I think that I might want to. I think that it would help further my body in cleansing itself from my past vegetarian processed lifestyle. I also think that regular fasts are good for the body to "reset" itself. My question is, how do I do it?

I do not have a juicer so juicing is out for me. I could try a water fast, but I am taking 5 college classes and I am worried that it may interfere with my thinking. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You can still juice fast if you have a decent blender. Just buy paint strainer bags from a Home Depot or similar store. They are very cheap and you can put the pulp that you blended in there and squeeze the juice out with your hands. It works very well, I have done it a while and still do it when I am traveling.

There's a ton of information here, take your time to read it!!

The blender and strainer idea is great. I've done it before and it works. You could do a green smoothie fast, too, if you have a good blender, or green smoothie and juice. Another idea for cleansing could be mono fruit fasting. So watermelon is in season now and it's not too expensive and it's delicious. So you would take a period of time and only eat watermelon (or whatever fruit you choose). It's another option. I agree, I would not try to juggle so much w/ just water.
