Does anyone have any great recipes that don't involve vitamixes or food processors?

I have veeerrrry few and need more ideas.

Here's mine:

PORTABELLO SANDWHITCHES
1. Start with portabello cap
2. Tomato slices
3. Red onion
4. Avocado
5. Lemon juice
6. Fresh basil
7. Top with another portabello cap

Sometimes, it's too high for one jaw, so you'll need at least two jaws (just kidding) -- open-faced version of this is good, too.

Please send yours--I could really use more ideas.

I don't have a vitamix and other than raw milks and smoothies I very rarely use my ninja blender or processor. I don't have any recipes that I think are really "post ready" but I hope that lots of people reply! I would love to see some answers to this!!

Yummy sounding sandwiches BTW

One of my favorites:
Todd's Waldorf Supreme

Chop and put in bowl:
1 Tomato
1 Avocado (skinned and pitted)
1 Sweet Pepper (red/yellow/orange) (seeded)
1 Apple (cored)
1/2 Sweet Onion

Note: you can vary the ratio of these items per your preference

Pour a small amount of oil over the chopped ingredients (about 1Tbl)
Add a pinch of salt
Add some cayenne pepper - depending on how hot you want it. Start with pinch or 1/4 tsp

Then stir, stir, stir. The object is to allow the oil to soften the avocado, which will coat all the ingredients.

Enjoy

I made a mango tomatoe salad for my lunch today.

1 mango, sliced,
1 cup grape tomatoes sliced in half (or any other tomato you choose)
1/4 cup red onion, diced
1/4 cup mint
2 tablespoons parsely

I will dress it with orange juice/flax oil dressing with salt, pepper, 1 tbs lemon juice, 1/2 tsp coriander powder & pinch of clove powder, but I'm sure it would be good with any kind of dressing or a little citris.

I haven't tried it yet, but it is really pretty. You don't have to use exact measurements. I just used what I had left over in the fridge.

I will definitely try the portobella sandwiches.
