Yes, they can, but you'll want to first want to soak them and then put them in some kind of sweetener (honey, agave, date paste) or else they'll be VERY tart!

You could also consider blending them with some kind of sweetener and making a cranberry leather!

Thanks a bunch! I was thinking about using honey as a sweetener and was planning on diluting it, sort of, because raw honey is reeeeeally strong!

The cranberry leather sounds delish ! Thanks !

If you are going to make cranberry leather, don't use honey as your sweetener, as it won't dehydrate, it just gets stickier, never dry. I found this out the hard way.

you can use dates though, they work great.
