I recently bought a Breville Professional Juice Extractor J900 and I just recently found out that because of its high watt speed, that it doesn't extract the nutrients, so when you are fasting, you are actually harming your health because there is no nutrients in the juice, but they are still left in the pulp.
Which juicer would be best for great nutrient extraction?

The Omega Vert 350HD
But...it isn't so much that the nutrients are not extracted as that the juice is oxidized....just feed the pulp thru a time or two and drink it right away...you are still getting tons of nutrients.

Do you have a VitaMix? I have the Green Life juicer + just started trying out a Breville... but VitaMix is good for fiber and nutrients.

I have a VitaMix, but that isn't useful if you are going to do a juice fast. You need something that juices fruits and vegetables without the fiber or pulp... I am no where near ready to do a water fast.
I just got my Breville Professional a few weeks ago, but I realized today that it wasn't as quality as I thought it would be, because it doesn't have variable speed or low speed so you can juice fruits and vegetables slower so the juices yield more nutrients.
If you wanna see what I mean, here is the website I got this information today:
http://www.juicing-for-health.com/juicers-faq.html#juicer-safe
The site says that most centrifugal juicers don't extract the nutrients well, because at their high speed, they do a very inefficient job. The site recommends masticating juicers, but I have no idea which masticating juicers are the best.

I got an Omega 1000 and its pretty great for juicing. I believe it is a masticating juicer, as its blade grinds thoroughly. When the pulp is removed, it is mostly dry, proving the juicer is very thorough. I think it's a good idea to drink the juice right away to get the most nutrients. I'm sure your Breville juicer is fine for fasting, and is definitely not causing any harm to your health!

juice is best for juice fasting ... not the juicer itself.
Juice and be happy. Don't worry about the small things. You will get enough nutrition.

There are some published results from analyses of different juicers' products that show that the Angel juicer extracts more minerals from greens than other juicers, even other twin gear juicers. You can probably search google and find the same results. It is expensive, but it has a long warranty and it is a serious machine.
The Norwalk is about 2.5x the price even of the angel but probably achieves simliar if not better results. That is getting into the used-car price range.
Other twin gear juicers also do a good job of extracting nutrients. I don't buy into the ceramic magnet breaking up and solublizing minerals hand-waving. It doesn't make sense.
If you are on a budget, the single gear juicers are better than the centrifugal juicers.
You can also just eat a ton of fruits and vegetables but it is a lot of bulk to process and I'm not sure the body is that great at extracting nutrients therefrom.

Yep, I bought the Angel juicer. Love it. At first I didn't like it, but like all new things once you learn to use it properly you'll like it. It makes great juice, easy to clean, quieter than my other juicers and I don't smell a plastic smell like I do with some of my other juicers!
Glad I bought it, but it is a lot of money. I had health issues so that's how I justified buying it.
