So, I just discovered how much vegetable I go through in a week. I started juicing and I have already gone through my veggies so fast! It's not cheap either, am I right? Anyways, I have celery and carrots left, and a few red apples. I have some pecans, too. I won't mention how fast all my nuts are going. When in a bind, what do you eat/drink in the morning?

l lost my previous response but i'll try answering this question one more time....
Buying green vegies is very expensive and probably not as fresh as they should be either. lt's cheaper to sprout your greens and much fresher and potent too. Try these: sunflower greens (as good as it gets), buckwheat greens, wheatgrass, alfalfa sprouts, brocolli sprouts, fenugreek sprouts, clover sprouts, and common garden weeds.
Nuts are very expensive too so try having soaked/sprouted sesame seeds in a smoothie with sprouted greens. Do nuts less.

You can make crackers, burger or a sort of bread with the left over pulp. You can find many free recipe. One easy one, you add a little bit of oil, celtic sea salt and if you like something spicy (onion or chive or garlic or Cayenne pepper etc....) mix by hand or food processor. Delicious burger, if you don't want to eat solid food just yet, you can dehydrate them and freeze them.
This is a way to make 100% of your veggie.
On the other hand, if you visit dr Robert Morse youtub, you will see that he has unclogged many lymphatic fluid from many condition. Main factor to achieve this goal was with the use of eating only fruit (fresh, ripe, in season, water melon, berries, etc...). He also recommend the used of fresh herbs (cilantro, parsley, dandelion, etc....) once you are done detoxing. These greens are healing and will assist your body to repair. The first step is to unclog your lymph. You eat the fruit whole, you don't juice it. This doesn't cost money. He also sell herbs formula that he created himself for him. A good practice for juicing is doing leafy greens, fresh herbs and maybe some fruits to sweet (apple and lemon). I love wheat grass. I love a nice salad at night with delicious sprout.
All the best!

This usually happens if you start your response to a thread by clicking one type of reply button and then hit the other type as your submit function.
It is infuriating and I have done this several times. Two tips.
Always use the post quick reply button and then DON'T use the reply to thread button when you want to submit and if you have typed out a long response always copy it before you hit any button that you try to submit the post with.

Michelle, you're right about the cost of veg when juicing frequently but you can reduce the cost somewhat by buying at a price closer to wholesale. You can do this by going to a proper 'old school' independent seller and agreeing with him/her to buy each vegetable by the box/crate. Obviously, you don't want to buy everything by the crate - carrots are cheap enough to buy in smaller quantities, for example, but it can be useful for stuff like beets or celery or apples etc.
P.S. always peel beets and, if possible, try to use only organic beets because beets are a crop that tends to get rather a heavy dose of pesticides, which is particularly unfortunate because they are superb liver cleansers and one doesn't want to be punishing the liver with pesticides when intending to cleanse it!
