Hello

I am Amy and a raw vegan chef - I have been teaching raw cuisine at detox retreats in the UK, and prior to that I have worked as a chef on private yachts....
I have taken the plunge and left UK and am now living in Central America where I am setting up a raw business....

New to Central America - any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks so much and have fabulous days,

Amy Eloise

Welcome to RFT,

The yachts sound fun. I take it you are a raw, vegan eater as well as a chef? I ask because the best cooked vegan chef I ever met was a confirmed meat eater! He was just bloody good at making vegan food.

Ha ha - yes, I am a mostly raw but definitely vegan. I am a chef too - so combining the two....
However, I can still cook meat!

what is your Raw signature dish?

Hmmm...... well I'm a massive dessert person..... so, my signature raw dish would probably be Cinammon infused mango and pineapple tart on a macadamia and coconut crust. Probably not the most inventive but it's my favourite dessert.

Where are you from?

Bristol in the UK.

I come from a catering background - most recently wild food but now I don't eat cooked food anymore and like simple raw so I don't create much in the kitchen these days.
