Rawpriestess, both you and Draggon have inspired me sooo much after seeing all the wonderful veges and herbs you grow that I have since ordered packets of organic seeds from a supplier to grow my very own vegetables, herbs, I live in an apartment but it has a huge balcony so Iam going to take advantage of it. I used to order organics every week but things like herbs, spinanch etc would just wilt in my fridge so much so that it didn't look very appetising, I never really got around to juicing them and so they would go to waste most times, which ends up costing me a great deal in the end.

But, you know what after I ordered my seeds, I sat back and realised heck if I can successfully grow what I have ordered then that would definitely cut my shopping in half and because there organic seeds, I know that the goodness will still be inside them.

But something even more amazing hit me: one does not really need money to buy food well I guess what Iam saying is, if one had a huge garden and grew most of their fruit, veges, herbs etc you could just about live off that. If i'm starting to ramble on its because I need to get some sleep which I will shortly but I just had to post this thread and thank RP and Draggon for opening my eyes. Thanks guys!!!

They are without a doubt an awesome inspiration. After seeing the pics you guys have posted and more than that how self sufficient you are I can hardly wait to get back to Upstate NY to grow my own things. I miss my gardens so much but can't seem to grow anything but ant bites here in florida. In less than 2 years I will be back there but planning already. Thanks for the inspiration, you are both amazing~

Well, arent' you two the sweetest people.

Thank you so very much.

I don't know what else to say.

So, I'll just quit typing, and say, you have brought tears to my eyes.

Blessings,

Each year we increase the size of our garden and the variety of what we grow. Again this year we so enjoyed having so much fresh produce right out of our very own garden! We were like kids in a "raw-candy shop" we'd get so excited! Ha!

Next year will be an even bigger area we will use and I've been showing my hubby the pictures that Rawpriestess and Draggon have posted during this growing season and yes they are very very inspirational! Thank you!
