I will be shocked if you get one thats not a salad. After living in the Middle East since 2005 I cant say this way of life would be or is popular here.

While the ME has some GREAT veggie dishes I cant imagine eating them raw. Life here is centered around food. With Ramadan about to start the markets are full of shoppers. Yogurt, cheese, and and gee are in so many of the recipies here and are in every home. I dont think you will find many people that will try to mess with tradition. They would get talked about by most members of their family. I am not saying that to be mean. I just see tradition as being important on this side of the world. I also think it would be hard to change any of their recipies and still have them taste great.

If you come accross any recipies please share tham. I would love to try them myself.

Well, I don't know if this is "Arabian" but I found a raw felafel recipe (http://www.choosingraw.com/dehydrator-free-raw-lafel/). I know I have seen others in various raw recipe books.

There are raw recipes galore for tabouli and hummus; again, not sure if these are considered "Arabian" or just "Middle Eastern".

Thanks guys, yes felafel is great :)
I undestand what you mean Jayla, but putting tradition aside, most raw recipes dont actually taste like their cooked sisters, but it is the creative and nostalgic aspect i guess.
