Which Vitamix model???

How do you decide which Vitamix to get?? I feel like I need to take a few courses before I feel educated enough to decide on which one! Mostly because it's a big chunk of change for a kitchen appliance...I don't want to make the wrong choice and regret it.
Anyone have any insights? Thanks!
