but maybe i'm just not doing it right? I dunno. it seems to spin and spin and moves nothign sometimes, or maybe just moves the stuff at the bottom... or sometimes the smoothie setting has to be pushed 3 times in order for my smoothie to be smooth... what gives!? this thing is supposed to be the all powerful right? >.< I love it usually- it's just that sometimes i have to add too much liquid to stuff, like today with my 'icecream.' then it was more of a milkshake :( stuff like that....

Without saying what you're putting in it, hard to give a response. It IS a blender, not a food processor, so, water or other liquid is needed. I don't use blenders for "ice cream"... I use my food processor or juicer.

That was going to be my question also - how much water or liquid are you adding? It helps to add the juiciest fruits /veggies at the bottom by the blades, between that the sufficient liquid, that will get it all moving. *Ü*
