Peace to everyone,

How many of you who have been raw for a good time, (at least a couple of weeks or longer) have had any dreams that you were eating cooked food???

I had to post this because of a dream i had last night, where i was eating some chicken nuggets, and earlier i had a dream about eating a hamburger, fries, etc. the whole SAD combination! The thing about it was that even during the dream as i was eating the food, i was still consciously aware of the fact that it was something that i shouldn't have ate, and i felt guilty that i had cheated myself. And i was soo relieved upon waking up realizing it was all a dream!
I was just curious if i was the only one who's experienced this. (I doubt it, for some reason!) But i would love to see some other accounts!!

PEACE

Universal,

Here's a previous thread that discusses what you're talking about. I too have had dreams about that. Our emotional attachment to food is pretty powerful to have an affect on us like that.

Dear Universal,
About a week ago, I had a dream that I ate a cheese omelette between two pieces of fried bread with cheese (something I wouldn't dream of eating anymore) and I woke up in a cold sweat very upset. That's the first "cheating" dream I've had since I've been raw (over six months). It really shook me up.

Glad you shared your dream, cuz for me, it was really weird. Still don't quite know how to interpret it. I used to eat eggs and cheese, but wouldn't dream of it now, even if I cheated (which I haven't been and don't plan to).

When I first went raw I had a few of these dreams. The guilt was the worst part. I just wanted to be able to enjoy my favorite cook foods in my sleep guilt free. That would be the best of both worlds.

I had a dream where I was eating something cooked, and I realized that I was dreaming, so I went ahead and didn't feel guilty, but I did enjoy it, and that kind of was weird. Only happened once (so far)

Let go of that guilt! It is wonderful that you are dreaming about cooked food. It really is!

Our thoughts and attachment to food runs far beyond just our conscious mind.
So your subconscious is working through these thoughts and attachments in your sleep, in a different realm than this outer, physical one. Its a great thing!
Wouldnt you rather be working it out there, than working it out, out here?

The "dream" world does not run by the physical laws this outer world does, so you get to by-pass the consequences you would have to deal with here.
What a great way to be able to work through things!

It is exciting. It is a huge sign of growth. Bless it!

Warmly~
