Anyone have a delicious recipe for a green smoothie that doesn't use bananas? I do include them in my diet, but i find i feel better if I don't eat a lot of them.
Thanks!!!

Sunshine,
Try this link. It's been going back and forth for a while now, and has some good suggestions. I even have my recipe on there, but it does take getting used to. However the benefits are amazing. Check it out.

I tried this one day when we were out of banana and now it's a regular recipe in in my house.
In a blender:
1 bunch of kale chopped (unless you have a vitamix)
16 oz water
3x cut and peeled mango ( I froze them the night before )
Variations* we did add kiwi one day and cinnamon another to give it a little Kick
blend and enjoy !

I enjoy green smoothies made with mangoes, pears (great in the winter!), peaches, or nectarines.
I just use whatever fruit and whatever greens I happen to have. But one of my favorites is orange/strawberry/spinach. I also like apple/romaine, with a 1/2 of a lemon squeezed in.
