The other day someone posted a wonderful thread about talking to our food. I loved reading how people sing and talk to their fruits and vegetables; however, instead of talking to my food, I am finding that I am struck by the colors.

Two days ago I was slicing an avocado, and I was amazed at how the slices went from beautiful green to a lovely yellow.

A day before that, while slicing a beet, I was taken by the intense red-purple color.

I bought a whole bags of non organic peppers just because it was a beautiful mix of yellow, orange and red.

So, basically, I'm going crazy. But really - these colors are amazing to me now, whereas beforehand I never noticed it.

I think we take colour for granted.

I can't paint for all the tea in China but I loved watching a programme called water Colour Challenge and I found I saw a much broader selection of colours where before would have just said brown or grey.

I had beetroot and avocado today ... and Romaine lettuce I love the colour of too; especially the outer leaves.

I think that the longer I am raw the more I pay attention to those kind of things. The color, texture, smell, ext. Raw food it beautiful.
