I found what appears to be a good online deal for the KitchenAid Architect ($179) Food processor. It has 3 work bowls (12, 10 & 4 cups) and a nice range of attachments, including a citrus juice attachment.

I had been planning to buy the Cuisinart Elite 12 cup which is $239 on Amazon.

Price is not that big of a factor for me as I see it is an investment, but the citrus juicer attachment is appealing to me since I have a small kitchen ... can't see buying a separate electric citrus juicer.

And ... finally, does anyone have the Omega Food Pro? They sell it one discount juicers and the 5 year warranty is appealing.

Appreciate any feedback you have. I've been holding off on getting a Food Processor for a while, but I think now's the time to finally pull the trigger & buy one :)

I have a kitchenaid and love it.. I seem to remember that I was considering the Architect series, but there was something that made me opt against it, but I can't remember what! In the end I got the Kitchenaid 12 cup wide mouth one and am very happy with it.

I have the Cuisinart 14 cup. I love it and it works well, but it is SO hard to clean the lid. Stuff gets up into the rubber gasket, and under it, and I haven't found a way to remove it and clean it.

Thaiks!! I decided to go with the Kitchen Aid Architect. I found it in white on Zappos (matches everything else in my kitchen). I just ordred!! I made lemon/lime aid with agave & ginger today and juicing by hand reminded me of how nice it'll be to have the juice attachment on the food processor.

:-)

I can't wait until it comes. I wonder if it will arrive as fast as when I order shoes from Zappos
