And I'm really trying to make up my mind which way to go. I'm at about 80-90% raw -though I did do a straight 30 days t a 100%. But the dh and I were talking the other night, and every time I eat cooked, the next day, I am overdoing raw because it's as if my body has depleted itself of nutrients, and I just eat, eat, eat all day long...and then it's as if I can't stop the cooked cravings. And he told me that maybe my body was just cut out for 100% fullly raw vegetarian (I'd say vegan but I wear leather so I can't) And then I keep on thinking about our anniversary coming up and stuff and how it would be nice to go out for a cooked meal, etc, but I can always get a salad and fresh fruit or a fruit smoothie (NO MILK!!!!!!!!) or something. I don't have to skimp on that 'cuz I'm raw. (this place is 10 yrs behind so no raw food joints here yet) And I'm going crazy trying to figure this out. I know there is a difference between 100% and any other percentage, but how big of a difference? And do I finally make the decision of where to go from here? I've given up my steamers and coffee...and it looks like tea is about to be next, so I'm getting there with my drinks...now it's just a matter of getting there wtih my food...but how long to figure out where to go, and any suggestions from any of you out there? (plus I'm now at 105 lbs and am afraid of losing more weight, and I think that's one reason why I keep some cooked food in - so that won't happen)

Ahh.....a crossroads..we can all relate to that livenraw.
Well, I would have to understand, what is your goal? What do you want?

Allisa talks in her book about doing 100%,, otherwise the cooked food cravings keep hanging on. I'ts like an alcoholic drinking only occasionally... just doesn't work otherwise your totally off the wagon and back on the addiction.
100% raw( as you probably noticed when you did it for 30 days) is amazing. I have tried the 80-90% and I just don't have quite the energy or zing that I do from all raw.
As for the weight loss,,Allisa also address that in her book,, do you have that? Might be good to get for you. She says that once you lose your fake body you will gain your real body and even though you might drop at first, once all the toxins are out your body will on its own bring you to where you should be weight wise.
Best of luck to you :)

aaah yes, that crossroad. I think I pitched a tent and camped out there for a few days not to long ago myself. It sounds like your going to be able to find your own way. Take your time, you don't have to choose over night,
Listen to your body and your intuition
I'll briefly tell you about my stay, after 2 months of staying raw until dinner and thinking this was enough for me, I thought I needed my cooked meal. Then I started to not feel well after a Vegan cooked meal, I started getting tired and slugish and I didn't like how I was feeling after eating cooked food, and neither did my body.
I decided to try going 100%. I had to stay 100% Raw for 3 weeks for my cooked cravings to go away and the first 2 days were so hard, I was miserable ! But, I got through it somehow and you will too !
I am so proud of myself for coming this far and you should be proud of yourself too !
I now know that this how I want to eat and feel and it feels right for me.
I just ordered an excalibur in hopes of being able to expand my menu and slowly transition my kids, but I am very nervous about it, i am so intimidated dehydrating and still have a young coconut if my fridge (second one, last one I had to throw away it sat in there so long) because I am afraid of opening it...I know sounds silly but when I am ready i'll open it....and when you are ready you will choose your direction and leave that crossroad.
best of luck !

Hi! I'm still very new to this journey but I think the question to ask might be...how do you feel when you eat cooked food versus how to you feel when you eat raw food? Happy? Healthy? Joyful? Glowing? Energetic? Content? Fulfilled?
Have you experienced different levels of raw to determine where YOU feel your optimal best (I've read everything I can get my hands on about raw and the experts suggest everything from 50-100% is optimal...but what suits your particular body? What fulfills your body, mind, soul?)
Good luck!!
Rachel
