I have been on and off Raw for a very long time, but never had the courage to try buckwheat raw, since I don't like them cooked.

Yesterday I got some for free, and tried any way... I soaked them for 5-6 hours and leaved them in the sieve over the night.. in the morning they had tiny tails already.

To my surprise they were completely soft, and didn't have any taste...

I put them in my banana/mango smoothie, which was REALLY filling.

But what else should I do with them... found many recipes with dehydrator but don't own that yet.... any ideas?

Thanks a lot

LOVE BEING RAW AGAIN :throwhearts:

I have some soaking right now and have NO clue what I'll do with them as I too am dehydrator less :) I might lightly toast in my oven (not 100% raw I know) and make granola, any ideas would be appreciated by me too! :throwhearts:

make a parfait! in a pretty glass bowl, put a layer of sprouted buckwheat topped with some banana slices and then topped with either strawberries or blueberries that have been mixed with your sweetener of choice (i like agave).. then top that with a raw cashew cream (you can find recipes easily). then do another layer if all those items and top off with a small amount of shredded coconut. deeelish!!
