Hi!

I'm a newbie to the raw food diet, but here's why I'm looking into it.

Just recently I found out that I have IBS and ulcers, I'm only 22 and I have the insides of a elderly person, not very fun.

I'm a vegetarian but I'm thinking of going vegan since my tummy is so sensitive.

I welcome and would love to hear any advice you have.

The last few days have been hell, my IBS flared up and I have been having massive cramps, I went on a clear liquid diet for three days, I'm just now getting back on solid food.

I'm desperate at this point, I want to get this under control so I can live my life normally.

some people have healed ulcers with raw cabbage juice

almond mylk smoothies with bananas - carob powder - pure maple syrup soothe my gut . yes syrups not raw but it whole food so i cheat with it a little because love taste

the late great raw foodist norman walker said raw spinach provides minerals / vitamins g.i. tract need to heal

coffees a bad

the suppliment L-GLUTAMINE HAS HElped some peoples gut

ide try changing water source to a well / spring , store water you get from there in one gallon glass bottles like wine sold in as i dont trust plastic

probiotics help ALOT of peoples guts . besides buying them you can get into fermenting vegis on own as they supply the good bacteria . i think its jarrow brand vegan type probiotics ive seen alot of people like at amazon.com

deep breathing sessions at same time each nite , 10 oclock worked for me , help calm / focus / re align internal clock which helps manys guts

this is a problem caused by junk weve ingested in this society for decades , we must rebuild tracts via raw plants and water . though obviously no ones figured out the exact ' recipe ' yet so we have to keep digging deep and working on it

every day its a struggle to avoid taking backwards dietary steps by eating wrong

NO BACKWARDS STEPS !!!!!!!!!!!!!

hang out with aleesha in the fasting threads as its not a bad thing to get used to eating less

even if its just 24 hour fasts several days per month

it helps to get a greater control over what you eat because you learn from fasting to become less desperate to eat . this greater control over appetite is great tool in healing

also some find the bromelin in raw pineapple juice gut healing
