Hello everybody! How're you all today? :D
So, I was interested in eating healthier because nutrition has always been important to me, and the raw foods diet has been one of the healthiest ways to eat that I can find, so I was just curious to know what to eat, what not to eat, and how to get healthy foods and recipes for not too expensive, and not taking too much time to prepare.

Right now, I've been eating whatever my family eats, but now that I'm turning 18 in a week and a half, I've decided to make food choices for myself and just want to know where to get started! :) And pointers or advice is greatly appreciated!

Hi,

Basically you can take a bunch of raw foods and pile them on a plate which takes 5 minutes and then eat - it can be that quick and simple.

You can add home-sprouted seeds and grains which are easy to do, take up very little space and very little time every day to organise. They are also VERY inexpensive.

Take a look at Alissa's 1st book and or DVD - see link under lettuce at top left of forum.

Basically as long as it's not cooked/heat teated or animal based (except honey if you want) then you can eat it.

I recommend jumping right in but other do a slow transition.

Join the 30 day challenge to get support and an idea of what others are eating - the support alone is very helpful.
