Hi all - I have an automatic sprouter but have only used it for wheatgrass. I decided to plant my wheatgrass instead because it looks pretty :) Any suggestions regarding how/what to sprout? I tried Chia in the auto sprouter but it did not work like it does on my chia pet. Can you sprout all dry beans? I have this sprouter:

Any ideas about what else besides wheatgrass I can sprout in it?

Thanks for the link, I will check it out.
It said in the description that you can sprout all types of seeds - so how about alfalfa or clover? Those are my 2 favorites because their taste is very mild. If you want hot or zippy - you could try broccoli or radish too. I also love Sproutpeople's site. They have some videos up on YouTube as well, it that would interest you. *Ü*

Chia can't be done in that type of sprouter. Chia needs to be sprouted on a cotton, flax or hemp bag. Not in a bag, on a bag. Once placed on a bag you can then place in a plastic shopping bag (leave front open) to speed up the sprouting process and sprout for 2 weeks.
The sprouter above is o.k, but it has many limitations and l would never use it. Many people with a good water supply can get by by using such a sprouter, but people with a poor quality water supply, living in a negative vibration environment and sprouting inside closed rooms might have alot of trouble.
lf l use sprout bags, automatic sprouters or jars for mung beans they all rot within 2 days. Other people will have different success. lf l use most tray sprouters the mung beans still rot.
The only way l can get my mung beans to grow is to:
* use a certain type of tray with very few beans in it (3 tablespoons). An automatic sprouter rots the beans because it has too many in it and the beans don't breath and too much bacteria remains on the mung and adzuki because they don't get cleaned properly...that's why l avoid them. They need at least 60 psi (pounds per square inch pressure spray from my experience) to keep them from rotting in the biggest nightmare scenario. Other people won't experience this, but some people will and will need to use a high pressure spray.
* use a high pressure sprayer (very very important. Must spray hard so all the filth comes off the seeds, this WON'T happen with an automatic sprouter)
* use filtered water that takes out at least 90% flouride and 99.9% chlorine and 99% mercury and other heavy metals.
* then energise the water by soaking in a tub of water with mineral rocks in it and then placing in another glass container on top of a special water energiser so the growth rates are at an optimum. lt works much better than filtered water.
http://www.orgoneffectsaustralia.com/waterenergizers.html
* then l neutralize all electromagnetic radiation in the house via a certain device. This further helps sprouts grow:
http://www.orgoneffectsaustralia.com/geoclense.html
* then play classical music to your sprouts and write `love' on the side of the sprouting trays (not sure if it works, but it might haha).
lt all seems over-the-top but l have had a nightmare 6 months getting my mung beans to grow. l HAVE TO go to extroadinary lengths to have them survive more than two days. lt's not easy to work so hard but it needs to be done this way, same goes with the adzuki's. l have wasted about 10kg of seed trying to perfect this method and now l get perfect results in the hardest growing conditions possible. l used to sprout mung beans easily once, but then l hit a real bad stage where all types of mung would die quickly, and no matter what l did they still died, l was cursed (seriously). Then l pulled out all stops and went full on (see above), and now they grow. l had the worst luck of anyone, so if l can grow them anyone can....it made me a much better sprouter having gone through all the nightmares, it made me really understand the processes very well and why things work (not just reading off a website and trying it out) by pioneering methods in the hardest of times. lf everyone elses methods failed to help, then new methods must be developed. l have learned alot from trial and error.
A very interesting sprouting experiement
l have done numerous experiments and it is amazing what l have found.
My friend and l have worked side by side sprouting sesame seeds. We use the same filtered water, water energiser, same seeds, same sprouting trays, same high pressure sprayer etc. His sesame seeds sprout 98% (unheard of, even professional sprouters never get that high a sprouting rate), my sprouting rate is between 5 - 10%. Why would he get such a higher rate of sprouting? l think it is kalma, and yes, another nightmare to solve like my mung beans (l used to get a sprouting rate of 60% once...pretty standard for sesame seeds). He is a highly spiritual man. He can also get rice to sprout a tail 3 times the length of the rice after only 3 days (unheard of again).

lt's o.k for everyday laymen, but they don't have all the answers. lf l tried growing my mung beans their way, everything would be dead in two days.

You serious? :D I just throw my mung beans in a glass jar filled with tap water, two days later they are ready to eat. I've tried with natural spring water (with no fluoride or anything else added) but they grow much better with tap water.

lt's my karma Dime, the lower forces know l am doing good things and they are out to test me. l never used to have any trouble and used to be able to use tap water very successfully.

I am so glad you are still posting,Mr Raw..please keep it up..
You have so much good information to share!
Your dinner looks yummy!!
People wonder how our mouths can water at the sight of such a feast!
Mmmmmm good.
I think those energisers you mentioned, and such like links you gave are not available where we are in the Northern Hemisphere.
I think maybe water which has been energised by a vortex might be helpful.
We have ways to do that ,anyway, here.
And the Music..mmmmm..yep..that helps.
And Spiritual consciousness helps a lot too.
ALL of this is very helpful, very helpful, indeed.!
Please conti ue to post your findings and experiments,if you can find the time, etc.
Thanks
Al

Thanks for the kind words and thanks for the friendship request.
Me and a friend have made it our mission to introduce people to better living via all those energisers, anti radiation equipment and sprouting. Lots of people are getting on the sprouts. l am busier than ever....never stop from morning to night.
Seeing a farmer to deliver some bad news soon. Need to tell him that he may have destroyed his farm. Made some discoveries and need to deliver the crushing news. He has many lives in his hands and he has a responsibility to face the inconvenient truth.

Fortunately for him he switched from `roundup' weed killer to `bio-active roundup' weed killer that actually does biodegrade.
`Roundup is manufactured by the unethical company Monsantos, the same company that is behind GM foods and has pro GM politicians sit on their board.
The company has been found to falsify studies saying that `roundup' was safe for human consumption and the environment, but good scientists have found out otherwise. Monsantos said that roundup was biodegradable but a court forced them to remove the claim from the label because it was found to be untrue. ln short, roundup is extremely dangerous to the environment and to human health.

Getting back to the immediate subject. Yes, he uses bioactive roundup and l do believe it is safe because his farm is teaming with lizards and frogs. :throwhearts: l have still asked him to do a soil test to make sure. He is in the agritculture industry.

oh good - nothing too terrible.
soil building for a few years, allowing the substances to degrade, should get him back on track....
Even totally organic operations are not "totally" clean due to the widespread use for decades, runoff, and drifting, etc.
We just all have to do our personal best, and hopefully turn the tide against this nonsense......
