I'm only going on it for 2-3 days to get a taste of it and to see if I can handle it. i did a juice feast a while ago and lose some weight, but didn't really go through any detox.
My juices consist of Cucumber and Celery as a base. 1-2 types of leafy green vegetables and optional lemon or lime juice.
I'm also drinking water and boiled water in the place of tea.
Does anyone know if I can still take my algae while on this?

It's really up to you. With mainly vegetable juice, it would seem to fit right in.
I had read long ago in an old book of mine that fruit is for cleansing and vegetables for building, so this would seem to be a building fast as opposed to cleansing.

I've read more or less the complete opposite. i'm not a fan of sugar anyway...unless its mixed with chocolate lol.

I don't see why not. I read green tea was fine when doing any sort of juice feast or cleanse.

Wow hungry as hell already. Will this feeling go away? I'm not going to be able to manage more than a couple of days like this.

I think it's supposed to get easier after day three or so. When your digestive tract gets used to the idea that it doesn't need to do anything then it should start to get easier. Sip your juices rather than chugging them down too - it's less likely to make your stomach think it just had a meal.

Got a bad head too. I know its a detox symptom, but I thought I wasn't supposed to be detoxing for a few days yet.
I feel its going to be a big help to talk here while I do this, so I hope people don't mind me posting a lot.

make sure you are also drinking plenty of water. Dehydration is maybe causing your headache.

Going to bed now, starving and feeling terrible. Hope things will be better tomorrow.

make sure your juices are well strained so that there aren't tiny particles of food needing digestion, then after nothing to "digest" that empty, grumbling, feed me or I die, stomach feeling goes away in a day or two....
Good luck and congrats on day 1!

The first couple of days can be rough. Hang in there. Drink lots of water too.

I can't believe how fast I got ill. It isn't dehydration, I know what that feels like, it must be detox.

Ok this is a tad crazy. My vision has gone so crisp and clear its actually ridiculous.
I mentioned in another thread that I was bron with Achromatopsia (genetic) which has three main issues.
- Photophobia (Extreme light sensitivity) easilly the worst aspect of my condition that I was born with by the way.
- Complete Colourblindness
- Bad Visual Accuity
My sharpness vision has literally transformed. I've NEVER seen so clearly in my life. My photophobia and colourblindness hasn't changed, but its only been 2 days on this feast. Is this common for vision to improve as fast???

My last juice fast was rather lengthy (40 days). I LOVED it. You just have to make it through the first few days then you are golden. :juicy:

Finished my juice feast this morning with a green smoothie. I'm going out for a meal tonight and I'm going to have a large salad.
My experiences
The bad: Pain in my chest, head and also some stomach. Very much spend the whole time hungery, but it somehow made me more resilient to food and bad choices in general.
The good: Heavy detox, feel great now and also lost about 5 pounds in 3 days. Skins clearer and my eyesight is soooo much clearer and sharper.
I would love to do this again and for a longer period of time. Any ideas when i can do this again? I don't want to do it so soon as I think I jumped into this one too soon.
