Just thought I'd share this info.
I bought some regular almonds off the shelf in Sainsburys. I soaked them longer than I normally soak almonds and they started to sprout. For me this signifies that they are raw enough to eat happily without worrying that the label doesn't say raw on it. It's cheaper too :)
